client: Peterborough Players when: 2006 The Peterborough Players, founded in 1933, is one of the oldest summer stock companies in the country. In 2007, The Players decided to expand their Annual Gala Auction fund raiser with an on-line component. The on-line auction was held a week after the traditional auction held at the Players barn. The on-line auction allowed The Players to increase the range of items and services offered. Additionally, the auction audience expanded beyond those physically able to be at the Gala Auction on a particular night.
